About PhaseSky

Discover our story and the principles that guide our engineering.

Our Story

PhaseSky was formed around a simple, practical belief: complex aerial systems work best when they are built with discipline, clarity, and respect for first principles.

The company emerged from hands-on engineering work in micro-drones and control systems, where it became clear that the future of autonomy would not be driven by single machines, but by coordination—timing, synchronization, and systems thinking.

Drawing inspiration from the rigor of early aerospace and research programs, PhaseSky applies that same methodical approach to modern autonomous flight. Every design decision is grounded in physics, validated through iteration, and focused on scalability—from individual micro-drones today to distributed aerial systems tomorrow.

PhaseSky exists to build technology that is precise, reliable, and intentionally engineered—advancing aerial capability through order, not excess.

Today PhaseSky is a modest but growing team committed to creating synchronised aerial systems that uplift human flourishing. We believe that good technology stems from an integrated life: faith, reason, craftsmanship, and generosity working together. Every board we design and every line of code we write reflects this integrated approach.

Guiding Principles

Future‑Forward Engineering

We engineer toward the next decade, designing systems that anticipate tomorrow’s challenges.

Aerospace Discipline

Our methods come from aviation: rigorous testing, redundancy, and safety‑first thinking.

Distributed Mesh Intelligence

Our long‑term direction is systems that coordinate via mesh networking and collective intelligence.

Physics‑Driven Design

We believe physics, not fashion, should shape products. Data and principles come before aesthetics.

Our Approach

Integrated Systems

Hardware, firmware and flight logic are co‑designed from first principles. The PCB is more than a board: it’s the heart where motors, power, radio and sensors converge.

Open Collaboration

We freely share our flight stack and documentation. By releasing our work early and often, we invite others to learn, adapt and contribute to the mission.

Disciplined Testing

We build and break prototypes. Each iteration is measured against data and physics, not hype. Robustness and safety come before novelty.

Future Vision

Our roadmap extends beyond individual drones. We’re laying the groundwork for mesh‑coordinated fleets where each unit contributes to a larger mission.

Our Values

Faith & Craft

Our engineering is rooted in an integrated life: faith, reason and craft inform every decision. We pursue excellence and generosity in the work of our hands.

Rigour & Testing

We apply discipline to design and verification. Prototypes are built to be broken and improved, guided by data and physical principles.

Collaboration & Openness

Openness invites dialogue. We share our work freely and welcome contributions from the wider community to strengthen the mission.

Future Vision

Our sight is set on decades ahead. We design today for mesh‑coordinated fleets and distributed intelligence in the skies of tomorrow.

Our Vision & Impact

Purpose Driven

We build with a sense of higher purpose. Our Catholic ethos informs our responsibility to create technologies that serve society, honouring faith and reason together.

Engineering Excellence

Excellence comes from rigour. We favour physics over fashion and data over hype, ensuring that performance and safety lead design decisions.

Collaborative Community

Our open approach invites collaboration. By sharing our flight stack and documentation, we cultivate a community that helps refine and strengthen our systems.

Mesh Future

We design for the long term. Our roadmap aims for mesh‑coordinated fleets where individual drones cooperate seamlessly in distributed missions.
